January Tutorial Sale!

Updated: 5 days ago

Why not begin the new year with a tutorial?

Botanical Art Online currently has a sale on until the end of January, which includes many tutorials discounted with £3 to £15 reductions.

And, even better, you have a whole year to complete any short tutorial purchased and the longer tutorials have indefinite access, so there is no pressure to rush through them..... because I know that life tries to get in the way and time passes faster than we'd like it to. A selection of the tutorials currently on offer

So, whether you're a beginner in botanical art, or maybe you want to brush up on your skills with painting leaves, drawing or colour mixing, these are just a few of the tutorials on offer for January.

I'm sure many of us start the year thinking that we just didn't paint enough last year, and this year we wan to do more, so this is a great way to kickstart 2025!

The offer ends midday UK time on the 31st January UK time

Coming in 2025

Last year I spent a lot of time writing my new book Sketching Nature, which will be out in May this year, and I will tell you more about that nearer to the time. But that meant I had less time for making Tutorials, so now the book is finished, I can return to the tutorials, so do keep a look out or subcribe to keep up to date with whats coming up.

Sketching Nature will be released in May 2025

I began 2025 with the new Lichens Tutorial, which I'm currently adding more material to, including a small work on vellum or artificial vellum, and if you previously purchased the Butterfly tutorial, I show you how you can make such a surface, or you can purchase artificial vellum from William Cowley's or Pergamina.

Looking forward to Spring, there will an all new Sketchbook tutorial to coincide with the book release and I can finally get the Composition tutorial online.....I will add also add a tutorial on shells and maybe this will include seaweed too, which I'm making in response to you suggestions..... maybe even something painting on coloured paper for the end of the year.

It will certainly be a full year ahead!
